Hallelujah Salvation and GloryWhat does hallelujah salvation and glory mean to a Christian? It means that Jesus Christ the son of the living God took upon himself the “curse” of mankind – and redeemed us from the curse of death, destruction, illness and all that is bad. If we but believe on Him – confess with our tongues that Jesus Christ is the son of God he will be our Lord and Savior. Galatians 3:10-14 (New International Version)
Hallelujah salvation and glory indeed! What happened was Adam and Eve in Genesis disobeyed God by eating the apple. By the disobedience in God man fell from God’s graces. God had to establish the laws as written by Moses in Deuteronomy in order to be sanctified and able to communicate with Him. It was those laws that allowed man access to God before Jesus was born. Once Jesus died on the cross – he was the living sacrifice for all our sin – the redemption was bought. In our professing and believing in Jesus Christ as the son of God and in his death and resurrection – we are saved. We are allowed to be in the presence of the Glory of God. This is a huge gift and worthy of shouting over! Christians should walk around in awe and wonder and in thanksgiving for this beautiful and priceless gift we have received. Worthy indeed of shouting “Hallelujah Salvation and Glory!”

This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.

Psalm 91 1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say [b] of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge- 10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." |
